Bialetti 7024 Moka Crem, 3-Cup

Moka Crem is the only stovetop coffee maker that makes espresso with a soft, ‘cream-like” froth. It features a stay-cool lid, handle and knob, and an easy-to-clean valve. The see-through lid allows you to check the consistency of the froth and the special patented double-height funnel guarantees the right amount of water for each use. Bialetti’s Moka Crem is the only stovetop espresso maker equipped with a special built-in frother that enables you to infuse air into the coffee to create a soft, velvety, foam-like froth on the top of your espresso. To use; fill the lower chamber with cold water just below the valve. Insert the funnel and fill it with ground espresso (do not tamp). Remove any coffee grounds on the edge of the funnel. Tightly screw the upper part of the pot on to the base. Avoid using the handle for leverage. Insert the lid locking it to the handle with a clockwise rotation of the black lever to Cream position. Select burner size to fit bottom of pot. For gas stovetop, make sure the flame is not larger than bottom of pot. The flame should not come around the sides of the pot. After a few minutes, the coffee will gradually start pushing up the frother. When you see the pillar coming up, you can remove the coffee maker from the stove. Place the maker on a solid surface. Make sure the lid is in the closed position, hold the maker firmly with one hand and with the other pull and push the Moka Crem system 10 to 20 times with short, fast movements to create a soft cream. Open the spout by pushing the lever on the lid to the Pour position and pour. Note that the max boiler capacity is slightly more than the final output since there is always a little water left in the boiler after brewing. Never use other contents besides coffee like teas, cacao powder, instant coffee or fine ground coffee as it will clog the filter plate. Do not use abrasive or aggressive chemical products for cleaning. Doing so can cause damage to exterior and interior of cookware. For best results, hand wash with non-abrasive cleansers and liquid dishwashing soap. Pot is not dishwasher safe. Bialetti is the world’s most recognized and beloved Italian coffee company. Bialetti coffee makers have become iconic and has allowed millions of consumers to enjoy great Italian coffee that once was only available in cafes and restaurants. Bialetti’s passion remains in making superb coffee simple. Made in Italy.
