The stainless steel improve kit for the Hario Skerton coffee grinder generates a far better, much more constant course grind by centering and stabilizing the lower burr. It installs with only a screwdriver. There is no want to get rid of the reduced burr from the center shaft with this kit. This guide grinder operates excellent for finer grinds, but if you want to use a french press or some other brewing strategy that requires a constant program grind, this improve kit is a should. It greatly improves the consistency of courser grinds by trying to keep the conical bur centered, resulting in an even gap between the two burs. This even gap is what produces a extremely reputable and constant grind.
