The Bonavita 5 Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless Steel Carafe BV 1500TS is a single of Bonavita\'s subsequent generation line of coffeemakers, optimized for smaller sized batches of coffee from 3 to five cups. The 1500TS guarantees exactly heated water with an 1100 watt aluminum heating component that quickly brings water to a boil, which forces it up a tube to the large shower head. Water is dispersed evenly over coffee grounds at the excellent 195°-205° F for the fullest extraction. This smaller sized machine has two brewing modes: typical or pre-infusion mode which pulses water by way of for optimal saturation and to allow fresher grinds to degas. The carafe is a new double-wall layout thermal carafe that has a stainless steel interior and exterior that will preserve your coffee scorching for hours.
