Hammered Copper Turkish Greek Coffee Pot Coffee Maker With Wooden Handle 10oz

TRADITIONAL DESIGN Each unique copper piece is hand made into a shape by experienced artisans in Anatolia. Our coffee makers are made with heavy thick copper. They are tin lined inside for durability and ease of cleaning. Each wood handle is turned on a lathe and individually stained. WHY COPPER? Copper, more than any other metal, is known for its ability to diffuse heat evenly and conduct it quickly throughout its surface. Our pots are made of thick 1 mm copper (almost twice as thick as some others that look the same!). They are easy to care for, needing only an occasional cleaning with a soft, damp cloth. Also, they look better and gain more character as they age…just like people! SIZE & DIMENSIONS Coffee Maker Capacity: 10 oz Height: 3.25″ Diameter at base: 3.25″ PLEASE NOTE: Turkish Coffee World products are made to our specifications and must meet our high quality standards. With little care, your coffee maker will provide you with many years of service and pleasure. Your coffee maker is made with copper which is the choice of the gourmet professionals for cooking. It is considered the finest practical conductor of heat. It’s primary advantage is that it requires only low to moderate heat to obtain the best results. This is why the copper is the perfect material to use for Turkish coffee pots. It is lined with tin which is the most commonly preferred choice for copper cookware (tin is the silver colored metal inside your pot). BEFORE USING Wash your new coffee maker in warm water with a mild soap or dish detergent. ESSENTIAL PRECAUTIONS Never place your coffee pot in a dishwasher. Never boil your pot dry. Never use metallic utensils to stir your coffee. Use only wood or plastic spoons. Never use steel wool or abrasive pads that could scratch your coffee pot. CLEANING You can use the commercially available cleaning materials for copper or tin to clean your coffee pot if you need to, but remember it’s OK to let your pot turn dark. It adds character! Outside: Non abrasive pad or sponge is the best. Inside: Tin is a soft metal and should be cleaned with a dishcloth or sponge only. Never use abrasive cleaning materials like scouring pads or metal scrapers on your coffee pot. Rinse thoroughly after washing and dry to avoid spotting. It is best to rinse it right after use so that residual coffee grinds don’t dry and harden.
